BuckEye Roadhouse (9) This is such a great restaurant in Sausalito! I went there for lunch, but it has a great bar and would perfect for a date too! The food is awesome, and the restaurant has such a cool feel... Rent (0) Really well made, and awesome singers, but I forgot how dark and sad the story was. It was also a long movie, so be prepared. But, worth it. Grey's Anatomy Soundtrack (2) Just got the soundtrack on Itunes, and I love it. There are some fun new songs that I had never heard before. A good mix of mellow and upbeat songs too! New Nano (2) So I checked out the new nano yesterday, and I can't believe how small it is. It might even be too small, honestly. I have the mini right now and it is perfect for running and car trips.... Into Thin Air (0) I have been reading Into THin Air for book club and it is an awesome book. I can't believe that people climb Everest for fun, though! But, I would recommend reading the book while it is cold... Mamacita (0) Mamacita is a new mexican place on Chestnut, which is very fun. Good food and good drinks. It has a fun atmosphere too, with lots of big windows and a huge bar! Great place for margaritas! U2 in Concert (3) Just came home from the U2 concert, and it was awesome! They play such a good mix of new, old, and favorites. And the lead singer is amazing...he is so good! It was a great show, and would... Fix you by Coldplay (2) Apparently Coldplay wrote this song for Gwenyth when her dad recently passed away. If you haven't heard it, definitely check it out. It is good! The Grove on Chestnut (1) Whether you are going for coffee or a meal, alone or with friends, it is the best place to hang out. A fun crowd and a mellow atmosphere, I always run into people I know. Oh, and I love the... Group Costumes are the way to go! (4) Usually I am not a fan of Halloween and even try to avoid the holiday because of the hassle of finding a costume. But this year, a group of friends and I decided to get together and do a group... Golden Gate Park Golf! (1) Went to play twlight golf at Lincoln Park, but it was closed for a tournament, so the pro recommended going to Golden Gate Park to play their nine hole course. It was so fun! It only cost... DVRing (2) DVR/Tivo....awesome invention! It is so nice to be able to watch cools shows when it is convenient for me, not just when it is airing. And, fast forwarding through commercials...genious!... Fleet Week (1) So excited for The Blue Angels next weekend! It sucked that they did not fly last year! Here's to lots of rooftop parties! Nike Run Group Saturdays (0) I found this awesome running group on Saturday mornings which is absolutely free to join. They meet every Saturday at the Marina Green and about 300 people show up each time. There are different... Alpine Lake (3) Found a great hike over the weekend! It is in Fairfax (about 25 minutes north of SF). The trail winds around Alpine lake and brings you through Redwood trees and creeks and is just gorgeous.... Just like Heaven (0) If you like cheesy romantic comedies, you will love this movie! I thought it was good, but super cheesy! It is filmed in SF, though, so that is an added bonus! XM radio (3) I just got home from a road trip in my friend's car, who has XM radio, and thought it was great! We were driving through the Sierras where normal radio doesn't come in and listened to XM the... So you think you can dance? (0) My friends all love this show, so, I watched it for the first time last night, and it was pretty entertaining, but I'm not sure if it rocks or not! It was pretty cool when they asked a brake... Great place for an outdoor workout (1) If you haven't checked out the Lyon Street Stairs you are missing a great, yet intense, experience! It is about five blocks of straight up stairs. What is so fun, is how many other hardcore... Great weekend activity! (3) If you are looking for a great way to spend a day outside, I suggest bike riding to Sam's in Tiburon, enjoying Sam's punch and lunch, and then taking the ferry home! It is the best way to... Big Rig truck drivers (3) Big rig truck drivers deserve alot of credit because I don't know how they do it! What a lonely job! Always driving a big rig truck alone, and having to go slowly because they are carrying... Wedding Crashers is hilarious! (2) So funny! It is the equivalent of Meet the Parents! I would definitely reccomend seeing it! MoMo's before the Giants Game (6) I went to MoMo's last night before the Giants game and had so much fun! It is such a good group of people that gather beforehand...definitely helps to take the ease away from the horrible... Fun new game-Scene it! (2) If you are looking for a fun group game that isn't the traditional board game, Scene It is perfect! You get to watch clips from your favorite movies (current and oldies) and then answer questions... Great new Club (1) Went to an awesome bar.club last night and it was so fun! Definitely recommend Mr. Smiths for your next night out! Chambers Landing (3) Chambers Landing in Tahoe is the best way to celebrate the Fourth of July! Drinking a Chambers punch while overlooking the lake, and getting tan all at the same time! Can't beat it! Bachelors Party at the Palace (2) Such a fun event! It was my first time going to an event hosted by the Bachelors..and it was such a great time! Great venue, free drinks, cute people! Stephanie's on Newberry (3) Awesome restaurant with outdoor seating for nice days and nights! Great menu with comfort food and unique salads! Super good! Shopping- great deals! (0) Filine's Basement in the Back Bay may be overwhelming at first glance, but there are such great deals! Just got a designer bathing suit for $25, plus they have dresses, suits, athletic wear,... Martha's Vineyard- the place to stay (0) Just got back from Martha's Vineyard and had so much fun. Ashley's Inn in Edgartown rocks!! Such a cute bed and breakfast right in the heart of town with a great complimentary breakfast! 2 dollar tuesday at City Tavern (5) We went to $2 Tuesday and had such a great time..and it is such a deal (drinks and dinner for 2 bucks)! I think it will become our Tuesday tradition! Muir Woods Hike (2) Last weekend we went on the coolest hike! It is the Steep Ravine Hike from Stinson Beach and takes you through redwood trees, up hand built ladders, and then you get awesome views of the ocean...		Getting your Car towed with no warning! (32) I admit, I have a HUGE car, it's a company car, there isn't much I can do about it, but getting towed by your neighbors, sucks!! I parked infront of a single family home on Bay street and... $125 for a NYE party?! (3) I can't believe how expensive NYE party's are in the city. They take a regular old bar like Mr. SMith's or R bar and then charge over 100 dollars just to get in because they can! It sucks!... Movies in 2005 (7) I read that the box office has done horribly for 2005, one of the worst years in fact. I can't say I am surprised, the last few movies I have seen have been awful....Bewitched, ElizabethTown,... Brita Filters vs. bottled water (21) Does anyone else think that Brita filters are just a hoax? How do we know if they are really doing anything to the water we are drinking. I have noticed that if I fill a water bottle with... Elizabethtown (5) If you liked Garden State then you will probably love this movie, but it was very long and not that exciting! Some good points, but way too slow of a plot. The cast was good though, and it... IcerAir during a week day (1) The ski jump on Fillmore looked so cool this morning as they were setting it up, but it sucks that it was during the day on a work day, so we didn't even get to check it out. I bummed to... Misha and the OC (3) That girl cannot act! It is almost painful to watch! The only redeeming factor about this show is Seth ( cute and funny). But, I don't think I will be DVRing OC anymore! Late night muggings in the Marina and Cow Hollow (4) Just read a police report that there have been five sidewalk muggings at gun point in the last two weeks in Cow Hollow and the Marina. Just an FYI to be careful if you live in these areas!... Monster in Law (7) Just rented this movie and although there were some funny parts, I couldn't say that I would give this movie two thumbs up. Jane Fonda was pretty entertaining, but J Lo could have been replaced. garbage trucks are so noisy! (0) So I moved into a new apartment on a bus line, and was worried about the noise, but with the electric lines it has been fine. The real problem is the noisy garbage trucks, with the up and... Fog! (0) Fog in the city sucks! Go north, south, or east and there is sun...what's the deal with no summer in the city! Waiting for tennis courts (1) Went to Moscone Park to play tennis and had to wait FOREVER to get a court, and then didn't have time to play anymore. That blows! The Movie- Bewitched (0) Not as good as I had hoped. A little too cheesy!
